All of my projects are available as downloadable PDFs for just $7.50. You read that right - $7.50! For three-fourths of a Hamilton you get super-detailed instructions, loads of step-by-step photos, plus suggestions for variations - so you can make these over and over again without things getting stale in the craft room. What a deal, eh?

Aprons a la Carte: The Kids' Menu

Aprons are awesome - and in this set you get patterns and instructions for three different styles.

The Hector is a server-style apron with three pockets.

The Vashti is a full-body single-pocket apron perfect for art projects and messy kitchen adventures. The neckband and ties are one continuous sliding strip for perfect size adjustment.

The Madeline is a frilly apron with lots of ruffles - and a pair of pockets.

You get really detailed instructions with loads of step-by-step photos, suggestions for variations and adaptations of the patterns - and a delicious granola recipe.

One special feature of all my aprons is that kids can put them on and take them off - all by themselves!

The construction is simple. The Hector and The Vashti are very easy - prefect for absolute beginning sewers. The Madeline takes more time (all those ruffles are pretty labor-intensive) but it's not actually difficult to do and it's also appropriate for beginners.

Triangle Toys

No buttons, no bells or whistles, no batteries required. Triangle Toys capture the essence of an animal through color and a few key embellishments. The patterns and instructions walk you through making a penguin, a chick, a dinosaur, and a kangaroo - but the basic technique invites experimentation and creativity. What can you come up with?

All of the embellishments are sewn into the seams of the toys, making them very safe for even the youngest babies.

The construction is simple - three of the four patterns are appropriate for absolute beginning sewers.

Blockheads
What are Blockheads? They're beanbags! Handwarmers! Sachets! Dolls! They're fun to make and fun to play with.

You get full-sized patterns and instructions for 11 faces, 10 hairstyles, a pair of ears, a tongue - and suggestions for scented mix-ins. Most of the examples are machine-sewn, but I also give instructions for hand embroidery. Plus you get a page of ideas for more variations and instructions for several games to play with your finished Blockheads.

The construction is simple. All of these are appropriate for absolute beginning sewers, including children.
